- "What’s do you enjoy most about Hive?"
At Hive, it’s more than just a gym but a community of incredible people that support each other and want the best for one another. I have never been to another gym like it. Every one at hive- the trainers, the front desk associates and the gym goers- all truly love and support one another. We push each other hard. From my time at Hive, I have developed life long friendships, and a group of 12+ girls that I can call my best friends. 

- "What is your athletic background? Are you familiar with other studios, grow up playing sports, or is this something you’ve recently decided to try out?"
I had not had much luck with athletics because I was involved in the arts my whole life with no room for sports and athletics. I would join gyms and quit after a couple of months. Hive is the only gym I’ve been with over a year. I truly believe it’s because of the trainers and the community. I have never been able to do push-ups before in my life and now I can probably do 50 without stopping! 

- "What are your 2023 goals. And how does Hive support your progress?"
I try to set physical goals: things that I want to be able to do instead things I need to change. Last years goal was to be able to do multiple box jumps which I achieved in the first couple of months! This year I’d like to be able to do a cartwheel and a pull-up without assistance. Ignite challenges me every week and give me opportunity to achieve my goals and test my strength. 

- "What’s your least favorite workout to do at the gym?"
Body weight conditioning because I have a lot of body weight to condition. Also the trainers need lawyers cause they try to commit murder on body weight conditioning/cardio days 
Also side note- not only have the trainers helped me with my physical health but they also help me with my self worth and mental health. They teach me self love and acceptance on a daily basis.

We would like to officially announce that @designe We would like to officially announce that @designexperience_dani will be stepping into the position as Yoga Lead at Hive! There will be a lot of changing in the next year for @transcendyogaclt and we absolutely cannot wait to see what she is going to do! If you see her around the gym give her a high five and a congrats! Now, a little bit about this incredible person… 

Dani's yoga journey began in her hometown of Westchetser, NY back in 2013. Her passion for the practice blossomed and expanded as she entered college at High Point University a year later. After relocating to CLT, she decided to further her yoga journey through teacher training. She is now a 500 hr RYT who has trained with some of the best. 

Dani truly believes that yoga is for everyone and that is a practice of self-discovery. Teaching brings her immense joy because of the ability to share her passion and enthusiasm for the practice itself with the community.  She shares, “the gift of yoga is the gift of being full present. This practice aids your ability to tune in, learning about your body, mind and soul through movement, breath and mindfulness.” 

Off the mat you can find her enjoying the outdoors, singing, practicing her handstands, reading, playing with her dog Luna, and spending quality time with those who mean most. You can also find her on her social media @designexperince_dani, doing her best to spread positivity and love.
