About Our Program

The Youth Athletic Development Academy provides the best practice in youth athletic development; educating students, parents and coaches on foundational development for athletic success. We pride ourselves on prioritising safety and effectiveness while training our athletes to perform better, reach higher and achieve their sporting dreams.

All of our programs are targeted towards increasing the qualities that lead to improved athleticism, health, sporting performance and reduced injury rates.


Program Focus


Our program was built on a foundation of that speed creates the world’s elite athletes. This methodology has evolved as a state of the art system to help any athlete improve their burst off the line, top end speed and agility.


Our power programs are designed to promote lean muscle gains and increase strength. By focusing on proper form, intensity, and a structured rep range, athletes can expect to be challenged, develop lean muscle mass, and bust through plateaus like never before.


Our program is designed to push your body to its cardiovascular limits, our weighted, endurance-geared workouts will challenge your stamina and just as importantly, your willpower. Expect to be pushed and encouraged as we aim for that target heart rate of 80-85% of max and push you further than you thought you could go.

We understand the performance qualities like strength, power, speed, change-of-direction & agility, conditioning, mobility/flexibility, and mental toughness are the underpinnings to the development and success of elite athletes. Here at Hive Youth Sports Performance Training, we bring years of experience in the development of youth athletes and teams — focusing on bringing their performance to the next level. Our dedication, experience and qualification makes us the number one authority in youth athletic development.

How Do We Get Results?

  • We incorporate a periodized plan to develop athleticism in an individualized, holistic, and child-centered manner.
  • We educate on the importance of regular physical activity/exercise; the foundation of exercise prescription; the types of exercise modalities; the role of nutrition & recovery modalities; and proper technique and skill execution.
  • We provide the tools needed to maintain  physical activity/exercise throughout their lifetime.
  • We allow for the integration of training, skill acquisition and competition relative to biological development; through the introduction of various sports and physical activities.

Program Director & Lead Trainer

Travis Sullivan CSCS, USAW

Travis Sullivan is our lead sports performance specialist who is CSCS certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Over his 6-year career, Travis has trained a diverse number of teams at both the D-I and D-II level. Currently, Travis is an assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.


Rob Jenkins

Rob is a Co-Founder of Hive Fitness. He has 20+ years of experience in the fitness industry.

Josiah Boling

Josiah is a Co-Founder of Hive Fitness. He is a father of 4 children and has youth coaching experience in basketball, football and soccer.


Bryson Rogers

Bryson is a the Lead Trainer for our Ignite+ bootcamp program. His breadth of knowledge & expertise will educate and lead athletes towards their training goals.


Brent Bumgardner

Brent is a the Lead Personal Trainer at Hive Fitness.  He's certified as a personal trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA), (NFPT), (ACE) and has professional status in the IFBB and WBFF.

Athlete Code

Athletes are committed to character development, resilience in the face of adversity, and showing respect to all. They take responsibility in the management of their own discipline in regards to health and performance — including recovery, training, nutrition and mindset.

Our athletes understand that results come from intrinsic motivation, consistency, long-term commitment, and a love of the process. Their best effort and attitude is always put forward.

Our athletes are committed to upholding this culture within their community; striving to positively contribute to this environment while also supporting other athletes in their journey towards becoming their best.



1. 15 Minute Intro Call

The first step in enrolling in the Athletic Development Program is to schedule a 15 minute intro call. On the call be prepared to discuss your child's current fitness level & specific goals.

2. Complete Individual Assessment

After your intro call the next step is a 45 minute individual fitness assessment.

3. Enroll in the Program

After the individual assessment your child will be eligible to enroll in the Athletic Development Program

Camp Times

Our program is designed for year round need based training. We recognizing that athletes needs for training change throughout the year as sports seasons come and go.

Our camps run every week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
